The forester's lodge Pranie (before war Seehorst), was built about 1880, and it was the forestry of Krzyże village. It is situated in Pisz Virgin Forest by Nidzkie Lake. It passed to history thanks to the great Polish poet Konstanty Ildefons Galczynski, which came there for the first time in July 1950. There is the Konstanty Ildefons Galczynski Museum in Pranie, it has been founded in 1980. There are poetic mornings every summer in Pranie. You can meet here famous Polish artists and hear Galczynski's poetry. It has become a favourite place for cultural events.
