Mragowo – Sorkwity Sightseeing Route
You start in Mragowo, then you go to:
Bagienice Male – Gazwa Reserve protecting forest peat bogs,

Sorkwity – the palace in English Neo-Gothic, the Protestant church,


Sorkwity Park is a marked wood route. It has been established for ecology education purposes. It is really worth seeing because you can find there the old stand, the exceptional group of five larches (2.5 – 3 m aroud the trunk), the remains of the family tomb of the former Sorkwity palace owners, as well as the viewpoint for the beautiful Lampacke Lake panorama with the palace in the focal point.
Then you come back to Mragowo through:
i) Stary Gielad (19 th C. wooden houses), Pustniki, Zyndaki (agriculture skansen museum, horse riding), Polska Wies (19 th C. cottage, goat cheese). The route length is approx. 40 km.
ii) Maradki (Wiatraczna Hill with the view of Lampacke Lake), Rozogi, Rybno (old Protestant church, monument in memory of World War1 soldiers, 19th C. manor house and farming buldings), Pilaki Reserve, Borowe, Grabowo, Karwie. The route length is approx. 30 km.
